I am in a similar situation. What's your country of application?

Date of submission: March 25
Biometrics: Valid with previous Supervisa which expired in 2024
Medicals: Not done upfront but no request yet
Background verification: In Progress
Eligibility: Not started
Country of application: India

My parents had a Supervisa which expired with the expiry of the passport. They now have renewed their passports and hence applied for the Supervisa again. Biometrics are still valid so did not need to do that.

It's been 70 days today since applying and there has been no movement at all. The Processing Times website shows 77 days for most applications. Our application is going to go beyond the normal processing time without any updates.

I thought that because they had a valid Supervisa previously and traveled to Canada, it would be faster this time. Turns out everything is unpredictable with IRCC.

Any insights or pointers would be helpful. Thank you!

So your country of application will be Kuwait as it's the country of residence for the applicants, your parents. The current processing time for Super Visa is not available for Kuwait. The closest GCC country I could find was the UAE at 240 days.

Quick update, I submitted a web form request for my parents application. Even though their country of application/residence is Kuwait, I got an automated response from the embassy in UAE. This makes me think the processing time for kuwait is around the same as UAE for super visa. Currently the processing time from UAE is 240 days which is terrible. I am considering changing the address in their application to their home country (Bangladesh) where the processing time is 134 days.

Hello,

My parents did their medicals on may 5. Today i am seeing this message on their profile “

• We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message below for details.”

Does that mean, cic did not update the medicals yet or they have not received it. My parents checked with the hospital and they mentioned they sent the medicals on may 7th. Not sure if this is a generic message or waiting for us. Applied supervisa on 25th march

Then appeal on February 3,2025
Appeal rejected February 16,2025

Applied again on March 4,2025
Medical passed on May 27,2025

Congrats! I had a few questions for you if you have a few minutes:
-Did you show a higher income during the second application?
-Why would they reject the first time if you had showed enough income for a family of 5?
-how did you appeal the refusal?
