Hello ,

My parents - in -Law visitor visa has been rejected twice filed in Nov-24 & Feb -25 .. 1st time they quoted the reason officer gave was that he/she was not confident pertianing to the return , during the subsequent filing we have attached the leave letter approval from office. officer still rejected stating financial reasons (have uploaded liquid cash balance of 14L INR ~ 20000 CAD). Can any one please help us with kind insights , We are intending to file the visa again, Would any subsequent rejection risk/impact on potential future applications?

Looking forward for a positive response

So they have two refusals close together. Don't apply for another few months. What did GCMS say? How long was visit?

So they both attached job letters with approved leave? That is not enough on its own. Show business, income property with lease, investments, pensions etc. $20kCDN is not a lot if that is all their liquid cash and all their cash in savings.

How did you obtain PR? How long have you and your wife been in Canada? What is your in-laws citizenship? How long did they request to visit? What ties did they show tot her home country? Is the 20k in liquid cash? Do they have other assets? Did you order GCMS notes?

Yes there are GCMS notes for TRVs. I would only reapply after addressing any issues that are highlighted in the GCMS notes. 3 months is too long of a 1st visit and defeats the job leave approval letter to show strong ties to your home country. Getting a leave of 3 months is highly unusual.

I am planning to book flight tickets for intially 45 days & then extend them accordingly. Also for the finance ascpet we can increase the funds needed that should suffice i guess.

Your prerogative but how long they can visit will be determined upon entry. If they are not actually returning to work and are attempting to visit for longer you are slightly risking things by submitting a leave letter. There is a decent chance they will get a single entry visa so will have to reapply in the future and old application will be referenced.
